Effects of Freezing Enviro-Prep

Freezability of the Enviro-Prep System® Products

The Enviro-Prep System® is comprised of all waterborne products. Our products have no V.O.C. contents, are environmentally friendly , and extremely effective for remediation of different lead abatement projects. The following data are results of tests we conducted on the freezability of our products and the efficacy of the chemistry after freezing. Clearly the facts prove that our product can withstand multiple freeze thaw cycles without any deleterious affects on the lead remediation effectiveness, sprayability, and in can stability.

Lead Remediation Effectiveness During Multiple Freeze – Thaw Cycles

The data was collected by performing TCLP testing using untreated lead powder that leaches at 75 mg/L. The standard is the Enviro-Prep® product prior to any freezing. The cycles relate to the amount of times the Enviro-Prep® standard was frozen and then thawed. The Enviro-Prep System® remediated the lead as effectively before freezing as it did after 9 cycles of freezing. Besides the lead remediation effectiveness, the product was stable in the can after each freezing. Only normal agitation was needed prior to spraying.
