Render Lead in Sediment Non-hazardous......

Enviro-Prep® Premium uses a patented treatment chemistry that converts lead to a highly insoluble inorganic compound. The chemical dosage can be tailored to cost-effectively treat any level of lead to less than the RCRA toxicity characteristic (5.0 mg/L) or the Universal Treatment Standard (0.75 mg/L). The treated material remains stable under all “real world” and standard laboratory leaching tests.

Easy Field Application......

Treatment with Enviro-Prep® Premium can easily be integrated into existing blasting procedures. Following an initial review of current lead levels (if available) and any facility-specific issues, an application thickness can be determined. Enviro-Prep® Premium is designed to be applied prior to the blasting procedure. No special protective equipment is needed beyond what is normally required for blasting. Because Enviro-Prep® Premium is water-based and pH neutral, it does not create worker contact, wastewater, or material handling problems.
